A family-owned-and-operated dog-friendly campground on beautiful Yabba Creek in the Mary Valley, with additional cabin accommodation, Borumba Deer Park is a great place to unwind and spend quality time with family or friends.
Set in the tranquility of a deer farm and under new management with extensive upgrades being undertaken mid-2020, Borumba Deer Park offers plentiful relaxation and activities ranging from nature walks, kayaking and fishing to animal feeding and mini golf to ensure plenty of fun for the little ones.
Campers love the fact that Borumba Deer Park’s campgrounds are uncrowded, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The kids can play to their heart’s content without interfering with your neighbours, which means you can truly relax.
With site fees starting from $ 22 per adult and $ 10 per child per night, there’s non-powered and powered sites to choose from, amenity blocks at either end of the park, laundromat, large indoor camp kitchen and numerous outdoor barbecue kitchens.
There’s numerous different camping areas to choose from, ranging from camping by the creek to camping near the deer paddocks offering the opportunity to watch the deer come in to feed of a morning and afternoon.
If you have a preference for sleeping indoors and are looking for Mary Valley cabin accommodation, Borumba Deer Park has two styles of self-contained cabins on offer: Country Cabins and Eco Cabins.
Having undergone complete renovation and refurbishment in 2020, each of the seven cabins on-site are airconditioned, comfortable and roomy.
Sleeping up to four people and starting from $ 210 per night, they all also have an undercover outdoor area providing a great place to sit back and enjoy the peaceful bush surrounds.
Borumba Deer Park understands that holidaying with the whole family makes for special times, so camping with pets is permitted. To ensure owners do not allow pets to become a nuisance to other guests, however, a bond is required and numerous conditions must be adhered to.
From a well-stocked kiosk, laundromat and amenity blocks to a camp kitchen, barbecue areas and children’s playgrounds, Borumba Deer Park has all the facilities you need for a relaxed and carefree camping holiday. There are also fireplaces at most camping sites and portable fireplaces available on request.
From swimming, kayaking and fishing in Yabba Creek or at nearby Lake Borumba and nature walks in or outside Borumba Deer Park. There’s plenty to do around the park including mini golf, the new nature-inspired playground, which is great fun for the kids with rock climbing, rope climbing, bridge walks and more.
Arguably the Sunshine Coast’s best-kept secret, beautiful Mary Valley offers scenic vistas, country charm and a wonderfully slow pace of life. Surrounding by national park and state forest, the Borumba Dam Day Use Area is an extremely popular spot only a few minutes’ drive from Borumba Deer Park.
